Here’s the story behind this arrow’s name.
This arrow is named after Navi, the star at the center of Cassiopeia’s famous W. It has a remarkable origin story: astronaut Gus Grissom gave it that name — his own middle name, Ivan, spelled backwards — as a navigational joke on his Apollo mission charts. After the Apollo 1 tragedy, NASA kept the name as a quiet memorial. A star named in jest, kept in love.
This arrow is painted in off-white and navy — an eclectic, layered pattern that shifts every time you look at it. Off-white feather fletch, hand-sculpted. Hand-shaped cedar shaft. About 28 inches long.
Made by hand in Los Angeles. One of a kind. There will never be another exactly like it.
