Seginus is a variable star in Boötes – its brightness shifting subtly and continuously, pulsing on its surface in a pattern too small for the naked eye to catch. An ancient name of uncertain origin, distinctive and beautiful. It sits in the shoulder of the Herdsman, in a constellation mentioned in the Odyssey as a guide for sailors crossing open water.

This arrow is chunky stripes in pale yellow, beige, bright red, pink, warm beige, and dark red – the full palette of a warm afternoon, all the colors of summer held in one shaft. Turkey feather fletch, naturally shed. Cedar shaft, stained, finished, and branded with the Hotfelt mark. Approx. 25 inches. Made in Los Angeles. One of a kind.
