Acubens means “the claws” in Arabic — the reaching arms of Cancer the Crab, extended toward whatever it’s moving toward. There’s something optimistic about that image.
This arrow is all warmth and energy: gold, golden yellow, neon orange dots and pluses. It’s the most joyful arrow I’ve made in a while. Golden yellow feather fletch, hand-sculpted. Blunt tip. 25 inches. Hand-shaped cedar.
