Alula is a star in Ursa Major — its name means “the first leap” in Arabic, from the old asterism called the Three Leaps of the Gazelle. But Alula is also the word for the small cluster of feathers on a bird’s wing, the ones that help it turn and navigate and land. It’s a name that belongs to both the sky and to flight.
This arrow is white feathers, cut to look wild. No paint. Just the feathers, hand-sculpted, full of movement.
